Boston's dining scene is a delightful mix of tradition and innovation. For a taste of history, head to Union Oyster House for classic clam chowder. Seafood lovers shouldn't miss Neptune Oyster and its renowned raw bar and lobster rolls. Legal Sea Foods is another Boston staple, known for its signature clam chowder and crab cakes. There's one on just about every corner, so you can't miss it.

The North End is effectively Boston’s Little Italy. Mamma Maria serves up delicious, authentic Italian dishes in an upscale romantic setting. Regina Pizzeria’s pies are cooked in a century-old brick oven. Try a square slice and some arancini for lunch at Galleria Umberto, but be sure to get there early as it sells out quickly. 

Irish pubs are an essential when visiting Boston. First opening its doors in 1909, J.J. Foley’s is the oldest pub in Boston. It’s a South End staple and is still family owned and operated to this day. The Druid and The Black Rose are other authentic favorites of both locals and tourists. Lastly, hit up the new modern beauty The Dubliner, which is a standout by an acclaimed chef from Ireland.

As one of the oldest cities in the U.S., Boston is home to numerous historic landmarks. The Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile path that takes you through 16 iconic historical sites, including the Massachusetts State House, the Old North Church, and Paul Revere's House. 

Make sure to also spend time in the beautiful Boston Common and Public Garden, where you can relax or ride the famous Swan Boats. The Museum of Fine Arts is one of the best art museums in the world. It houses works by Rembrandt, Degas, Van Gogh, and many more. After visiting, take a stroll through the picturesque Harvard University campus in nearby Cambridge. And of course, every baseball fan should catch a game at the famous Fenway Park.
